Here are a top 5 waterfalls to see during your trip to Bali, there is something for everyone! You will also find some practical information and tips for choosing the right waterfalls and getting ready to go. The island of the gods is known for its waterfalls, so we advise you to visit at least one or two of them, it's worth the trip!
Bali is a volcanic island that is full of natural landscapes, and waterfalls are one of them. Although some are becoming a bit too popular for our taste. Not to say outright tourist traps, where you have to wait 3 hours for a simple photo. The island is full of other waterfalls that are less well known or less frequented because of their eccentricity, but no less sublime. Of course, everyone's water flow has a lot to do with it, and may vary depending on the period. Who says rainy season, says more precipitation, says more flow. It makes sense, doesn't it? All the waterfalls listed here are accessible via a landscaped trail that allows you to get there safely. Allow between 10 and 20 minutes of walking depending on the waterfalls and their location.
Yes, the waterfalls in Bali are chargeable, for about 1 or 2 euros maximum. BUT, the funds raised make it possible to keep them in good condition and especially to maintain the paths/trails.
So, even though paying to access a “natural” place may seem absurd, it guarantees you the possibility of visiting them. Without these trails, it would be much more difficult to discover these waterfalls.
General rate: 10,000 to 20,000 IDR, or 1 to 2 euros maximum.
